- In the File name box enter a file name for your configuration file then click

the Name box. You can enter any name you wish. This is the name of the shortcut
that will be placed on your desktop. The name of the collection agency you are
dialing into would be a good choice. Enter C.B. of Timbuktu for example. After you have
entered a shortcut name click OK.
- You should now see a window titled Connection Wizard: Step 4. Click OK
to
continue.
- You may want to maximize the TUN window if it is too small. There are three
buttons at the top right corner of the TUN window. Click on the middle one to
maximize.
- Click on TOOLS → options. You should now see a Settings window.
- Uncheck the Show splash screen at startup and confirm the session removal options.

- If at any point the message box EmulX connection closed by foreign host has
appeared, you will have to redial to reconnect your modem to the collection agency.
Press the Enter key and you modem should start dialing. If it does not start dialing
automatically, click on Session → Connection → Connection. Wait for your modem to connect
then proceed onto the next step.
- You should now see a login prompt. If you do not see a login prompt, hit the enter
key and one should appear. If you see the login prompt and are an offsite client,
proceed with the instructions for logging in as an offsite client. Otherwise, login as
you normally would when you are at the office.
- If you do not get a login prompt contact Porcupine Computers for support (see
support options above).
